Refined Staff uses essential cookies or similar browser storage for security, sign-in, form progress and your analytics preference. These are needed for the site and application flow to work.

We automatically load self-hosted Umami analytics to produce anonymous statistics about how the site is used and improve the service. You can turn analytics off immediately and at any time.

Essential storage

• Authentication and security: used to keep signed-in users authenticated and protect private areas such as ops review.
• Brief and application progress: used to save household brief or candidate application progress in your browser so the flow does not reset unexpectedly.
• Analytics preference: stores whether you have turned analytics on or off.

Statistical analytics

Refined Staff loads its self-hosted Umami tracker from a first-party Refined Staff address. The tracker does not set analytics cookies, does not track people across websites, excludes page query strings and fragments, and respects browser Do Not Track. It records anonymous usage statistics such as page views, referrers, broad device details and country. We use those statistics only to understand which pages and flows need improvement, never for candidate vetting, matching decisions or advertising profiles.

We use the statistical-purpose exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations for this limited measurement and our legitimate interests in improving the service for any related personal-data processing. We provide this clear notice and a simple, free opt-out.

Third-party services

Some features may take you to or use third-party services, including Google sign-in or meeting tools, Stripe checkout, Postmark email delivery and ComplyCube when an identity or Right-to-Work check is commissioned. Those services may set their own cookies or process data under their own notices when you use them.

Changing your choice

You can open analytics settings from this page or the footer. Turning analytics off records the preference in your browser and stops future analytics events. You can turn it back on or clear Refined Staff storage at any time.
