Household enquiry

Ask a question about hiring. To receive matches, complete a household brief.

Candidate enquiry

Ask a question about joining or an existing application. This enquiry does not create a candidate profile. Apply for work or check your application. Candidates never pay.

What to send

Two different conversations.

Households and candidates need different starting points. Send what you know now; Refined Staff will tidy the details with you.

If you're briefing a role

For households and principals.

Refined Staff's matching depends on the detail in the brief. Adding the essentials now reduces follow-up and gives the matcher better constraints.

If you do not know an answer yet, leave it blank. The platform keeps the brief structured, and Paloma or Adam can step in when recruiter judgement is needed.

  • 1The role and location. Job title, primary residence, and any secondary properties or travel.
  • 2Live-in or live-out. Schedule, hours per week, and how flexibility is structured.
  • 3Start date and salary band. Gross, not net. We'll convert as needed.
  • 4Non-negotiables. Driving licence, languages, newborn experience, dietary, pets, formal service — anything that would disqualify a candidate.
  • 5The shape of the household. Children's ages, other staff, entertaining, pets and travel rhythm. This calibrates fit, not just CVs.
If you're applying for work

For candidates.

Tell us the work you genuinely want, not just the last job you had. Potential introductions are reviewed against your recorded experience and preferences.

You do not need every document ready before you register. Share what is current; the platform records what is available and what still needs review.

  • 1Your roles. Choose every role you would seriously take: nanny, chef, housekeeper, butler, PA, couple, estate or specialist work.
  • 2Where and how you work. Location, live-in/live-out preference, travel readiness, driving and availability.
  • 3Experience level. Years in private households, luxury hospitality, yachts, estates, education or comparable service.
  • 4Languages and strengths. Languages, newborn experience, formal service, menu planning, wardrobe, events, SEN, pets or other specialisms.
  • 5Documents you already hold. CV, references, Right to Work, DBS, driving licence or ID checks. Photos are always optional.
