Weekend Nanny required for a lovely family based in Kensington, London, caring for an 8-month-old baby. This permanent role is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 7:30pm. The family are seeking an experienced, nurturing and proactive nanny with strong baby experience who can support the child’s development, routines and daily care.
Job Summary:
A warm and welcoming family based in Kensington are seeking an experienced Weekend Nanny to care for their happy 8-month-old baby on a permanent basis.
This is a sole-charge role requiring a confident and knowledgeable nanny who has experience caring for babies and supporting key developmental milestones. The successful candidate will be responsible for all nursery duties, maintaining routines, preparing meals and bottles, planning age-appropriate activities, and ensuring the child’s wellbeing, safety and development always.
The family are looking for a nanny who is engaging, hands-on and genuinely enjoys working with young children. Someone who can create a nurturing and stimulating environment while supporting the established routines of the household.
Flexibility is important for this position. The family would love to find someone who would be willing to occasionally stay overnight on a Saturday when required and accompany them on short trips for a few days during the summer months.

Candidate specification:
- Previous professional nanny experience with babies of a similar age
- Strong understanding of infant development and milestones
- Experienced with weaning, feeding schedules and sleep routines
- Warm, nurturing and engaging approach
- Confident working on a sole-charge basis
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Happy planning age-appropriate activities and outings
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Flexible and willing to occasionally stay overnight on Saturdays when required
- Open to accompanying the family on short trips during the summer
- Reliable, professional and discreet
- Up to date First Aid certificate preferred
- DBS on the Update Service highly desirable
- Excellent checkable references required
