This role offers a professional nanny the opportunity to support a warm, busy private family over the summer, bringing structure, energy and practical support to both the children and wider household.

Job Summery

A returning Eden client based on a private estate in Berkshire is seeking an experienced Temporary Nanny to support their three boys, aged 7, 5 and 4, over the summer period.

This is a busy, hands-on role suited to a warm, proactive and highly organised nanny who is confident caring for multiple children and happy to support a very hands-on mum. The family are looking for someone mature, flexible and able to read the room, stepping in with the children where needed while also helping with the wider day-to-day flow of family life.

The role will include travel around Europe, so candidates should be confident travelling with families and maintaining children’s routines while away. The family also have two dogs, including a Labrador puppy and a spaniel, so candidates must be comfortable around pets.

Job Specification

• Care of three young children
  • Planning fun, engaging summer activities and outings
  • Supporting daily routines, meals and general wellbeing
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Helping with children’s laundry, wardrobes and belongings
  • Packing and unpacking for family trips
  • Supporting Mum with day-to-day family logistics

Candidate Requirements

• Previous nanny experience within a private household
  • Confident caring for multiple children
  • Warm, energetic, organised and proactive
  • Flexible and happy to muck in where needed
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable in a busy household
  • Discreet, trustworthy and professional
  • Confident travelling with families
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable around dogs
