A short-term live-in nanny role supporting grandparents with the care of two young boys whilst parents are away.
This is a lovely short-term opportunity for an experienced nanny to support a warm and welcoming family over a long weekend while the parents are away. The role will primarily focus on an 11-month-old little boy, whilst also assisting with his 4-year-old brother. The grandparents will be present throughout the booking and are experienced, hands-on and delighted to be involved, so the successful candidate will be working alongside them rather than completely independently. The family are looking for a warm, friendly and capable nanny who can help maintain the children’s usual routines, prepare meals and plan fun, age-appropriate activities including trips to the park, playground visits, arts and crafts, spending time in the garden and home-based play. The eldest child will attend nursery on one of the days, with grandparents managing collection. This role will suit an experienced nanny who enjoys working as part of a family team and can provide a safe pair of hands while ensuring the children enjoy a happy and engaging few days.
Job Specification
- Providing care for two boys aged 11 months and 4 years
- Working alongside the children’s grandparents
- Maintaining established routines
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children

- Managing all nursery duties during the booking
Candidate Specification

Accommodation: Live-in with a private spare bedroom for the duration of the booking
