A private UHNW family based in Europe is seeking two experienced Housekeeper/Cooks to provide seamless household support over a six-week summer period.
The successful candidates will work collaboratively on a rota basis to ensure full household coverage across seven days per week.
The role combines high-standard housekeeping with family-style cooking and requires candidates who are discreet, proactive, child-friendly, and experienced in private households.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Daily cleaning and presentation of all household areas to an exceptional standard.
- Laundry, ironing, garment care, and wardrobe organisation.
- Bed making and linen changes.
- Management of household supplies and inventory.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and utility areas.
- Coordinating with the family’s nanny and other household staff as required.
- Caring for delicate surfaces, fine furnishings, and luxury household items.
Cooking
- Preparing fresh, healthy family meals for adults and household staff.
- Planning menus in consultation with the family.
- Grocery shopping and kitchen stock management.
- Preparing snacks and light meals as required.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.
- Accommodating dietary preferences and special requests.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience working in UHNW or private family households.
- Strong housekeeping skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Confident family cooking ability.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a household team.
- Child-friendly attitude and experience working around young children.
- Good English; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Valid passport and legal right to work in Europe (or ability to obtain appropriate permission).

Contract: 6 weeks – 1 July – 16 August
