Short term Housekeeper/Cook, child friendly in Notting Hill
A busy family looking for a warm, reliable and experienced Housekeeper/Cook Child friendly to join their household on a live-in basis for approximately three months. They are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, with great attention to detail and happy to hit the ground running.
Must have an enhanced DBS
Duties will include:
Housekeeping
– General cleaning, tidying and household upkeep
– Overseeing cleaner
– Dry cleaning drop-offs and collections
– Running errands (grocery shopping, post office, pharmacy etc.)
– Keeping the home organised and well-stocked
Cooking
– Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals for the family
Childcare
– Support caring for three children aged 2, 11 and 12
– Some school runs morning or afternoon
– Taking children to clubs, activities
– Supporting the mother with the children’s daily routines
The ideal candidate will be experienced in maintaining a beautiful home, used to working with children of varying ages, hold a full UK driving licence (own car not required), and be comfortable working in a family home. First aid certification is a bonus.
Nearest Station: Royal Oak
Property: Six bedroom over 6 floors (no lift)
Working days and hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to7pm
Accommodation: Private bedroom provided within the house but separate from everyone. With a double bed, TV and wardrobe and a bathroom located in the basement, which has a separate entrance. The bathroom is occasionally also used by the children (pee and wash hands/teeth)
Salary: £20 – £22 gross per hour depending on experience
Start: 1st September to 18th December 2026 (TBC)
