Live out Nanny Job, Islington, September start
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Nanny to help care for their four children aged between 4 and 9 years old. All children go to school and have a busy schedule! The role will be shared care with another nanny.
The role ideally consist of four afternoons and one full day per week during term-time, but the family is happy to offer full-time hours for the right candidate. They often travels during school holidays, but the successful candidate would only join them should she want to – this is not essential. If the family stays in the country during school holidays, the nanny would be required to be flexible and work full-time hours.
The family is looking for someone proactive, energetic, adaptable, and logical, with plenty of initiative and a team-work attitude. A real planner who knows how to think ahead and stay organised is a must in this fast-paced role.
Experience with helping school-aged children with homework and the academic side of things is a must.
An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.
Duties:
- Managing daily schedules
- Helping with homework
- Supporting the children’s learning
- Menu planning & cooking for the children
- Encouraging independence
- Doing the children’s laundry
Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour, depending on experience
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours:
– Term-time: 1pm to 7.30pm from Monday to Thursday / 7.45am to 7pm on Fridays (happy to offer full-time hours for right candidate)
– School holidays: full-time hours when family not travelling
– Babysitting: one evening per week
Driving: essential
Travel: bonus but not essential
Language: English
Other staff employed: full-time nanny and housekeeper
Pets: one cat
