A fantastic permanent overseas nanny opportunity supporting a well-travelled family with their daughter, focusing on development, weaning and providing exceptional childcare across multiple international locations.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and developmentally focused nanny to join a warm international family on a long-term basis following the completion of their maternity nurse’s booking. Based primarily in Egypt, the role involves frequent travel between France, London, Dubai and occasionally Abu Dhabi, making it ideal for a nanny who genuinely enjoys an international lifestyle and can adapt confidently to changing locations and schedules. The family’s daughter will be around 6 months old at the start of the role, and the parents are keen to find somebody who can support her through the exciting next stages of development. They are looking for a nanny who understands milestones, plans engaging age-appropriate activities, manages developmental toys and supports the introduction of solids and healthy eating habits. The family have greatly valued warm, flexible and informative childcare professionals in the past and are looking for somebody who combines strong childcare knowledge with a kind, engaging and nurturing approach. The role will involve both sole and shared care, depending on the family’s schedule and travel commitments. Flexibility is particularly important, as international travel often arises at short notice. In return, the family are happy to offer flexibility around time off, particularly during periods when they are settled in Egypt and mum is spending more time with her daughter. This role will suit a qualified nanny who is energetic, organised, developmentally focused and excited by the opportunity to become a valued part of a family’s long-term journey.
Job Specification
- Providing sole and shared charge care for a baby from 6 months onwards
- Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and play
- Managing and rotating developmental toys and resources
- Supporting weaning and the introduction of solids
- Planning stimulating outings, classes and activities where available
- Travelling internationally with the family on a regular basis
- Maintaining routines while adapting to changing environments
- Working collaboratively with parents and household staff
- Managing all nursery duties related to the child
Candidate Specification
- Professional nanny with a recognised childcare qualification
- Strong knowledge of child development and developmental milestones
- Experience caring for babies and young children in private households
- Confident supporting weaning and early childhood development
- Energetic, active and happy to keep up with a growing child
- Flexible and experienced with international travel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Warm, engaging and nurturing approach
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom provided. The family also employ a cook and maid. Candidates should be respectful of the household structure and comfortable working alongside other staff.
