This is a lovely role suited to a maternity nurse who is confident with new-borns and looking for a supportive family environment where they can work collaboratively with first-time parents.
A first-time family based in Jersey are seeking a Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their baby in September. Mum is due to have a C-section and will appreciate an extra pair of hands as she recovers, while both parents are keen to feel reassured as they settle into life with their new-born.
The family feel confident and relaxed in their approach, so this is not a highly demanding or overly structured role. They are looking for someone kind, practical and flexible who can offer gentle guidance, support with nights, feeding and early routines, and work alongside them as they find what works best for their baby.
This could be a good opportunity for a newer maternity nurse with solid new-born experience who is looking to build their portfolio in a calm and welcoming household. The family are considering candidates towards the lower end of maternity nurse rates, so the role would suit someone who is happy to gain further experience while offering reliable, hands-on support.
Feeding plans are yet to be confirmed, so a supportive and adaptable approach will be key. The home environment is informal and welcoming, with a small dog in residence. Please note a driver is essential.
