A warm and routine-focused maternity nurse role supporting a busy family with their third baby while helping maintain balance across the wider family.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced maternity nurse who combines excellent newborn knowledge with a loving, family-centred approach. A welcoming family in Berkshire are seeking a Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their third baby. With older siblings aged 20 months and 4½ years, the family are looking for somebody who can focus primarily on the newborn, allowing mum valuable time with the older children during the transition to life with three. The family value good routines, healthy sleep habits and encouraging babies towards independent settling where appropriate. They would love to find somebody warm, nurturing and genuinely affectionate with babies, whilst also bringing the knowledge and confidence to guide feeding, sleep and newborn development. Breastfeeding has gone smoothly with previous children, and the family are hoping for a similarly positive experience this time around. This role will suit an experienced maternity nurse who is kind, calm and organised, whilst also being naturally loving and hands-on with babies.
Job Specification
- Providing 24-hour care for a newborn baby
- Supporting breastfeeding and newborn feeding routines
