Live out Nanny/PA or Governess/PA, Richmond, ASAP or September start
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live out Nanny/PA or Governess/PA to care for their two children aged 14 and 16 years. The family is open to male candidates as well.
Both children have been diagnosed with ADHD. They go to academic schools and can manage the school runs by themselves if needed. The children need someone who can gently support them without being overwhelming. Despite being older, they still need guidance and care. The family is looking for someone who will truly engage them with educational trips and interesting conversations. Patience and imagination are very important for this role.
The role will be sole charge. When the children are at school, the successful candidate will do PA duties such as school-related admin, educational research, some cooking, household-related errands and research. Some assistance with walking the family dog would also be a huge bonus. A high degree of initiative is essential. The successful candidate will need to be proactive and a confident decision-maker as the mother does not have the time to micro-manage.
An up to date first aid certificate and DBS are essential for this position.
Duties:

Homework / exam preparation

Preparing school bags and uniforms – making sure the children have everything required

Organising educational trips

PA duties related to the children and the home (research, bookings, etc.)

Liaising with the schools

Cooking

Bonus but not essential: helping the housekeeper with laundry for the children
Salary: dependent on experience
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours:
– During term time: 1.30 to 7.30pm or 12.30 to 8.30pm
– During school holidays: possibility for longer hours if needed/wanted
Driving: essential
Travel: not required
Language: English
Pets: one small dog
Other staff employed: full-time housekeeper
