Live Out Housekeeper/Nanny Job, Hackney
A warm and professional family are looking for an experienced, reliable and dedicated Housekeeper/Nanny to join their home.
The family have one school-aged child aged 8. The child attends school full-time, making this primarily a household management and housekeeping role during school hours, with childcare responsibilities before and after school.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working independently, takes pride in creating a well-organised home and is confident taking ownership of household responsibilities.
The family are looking for someone seeking a long-term position who will become a trusted and valued part of the household.
Duties to include:
- Sole charge care of one school-aged child
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Liaising with the school as required
- Supervising homework and supporting after-school or holiday routines
- Preparing healthy meals for the child and simple family meals if desired
- Organising school uniform and children’s belongings
- Cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the household, maintaining high standards throughout the home and proactively identifying what needs attention
- Household errands including shopping, dry cleaning and managing deliveries
- Comfortable managing the school commute by bicycle or public transport
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm/7:00pm
Property: Four-storey, three-bedroom family home
Salary: £22.50 – £25 gross per hour
