Live out Maintenance Operative/Driver in South London
The family are seeking a skilled, proactive, and discreet Maintenance Operative to oversee the upkeep and presentation of two Grade II listed private residences in South London, near Clapham.
Working closely with the Property Manager and Principal’s Private Office, you will play a key role in maintaining these high-end occupied homes to exceptional standards.
The ideal candidate will also need to do some driving duties for one of the principals as and when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- General property maintenance, repairs, decorating, and carpentry
- Routine inspections and reporting using digital maintenance systems
- Supporting and supervising contractors undertaking planned and regular service maintenance works
- Assisting with pools, plant rooms, irrigation systems, AV/lighting controls, and household systems
- Grounds maintenance support including jet washing and machinery operation
- Emergency response for alarms, leaks, and urgent property issues
- Maintaining excellent presentation, safety, and compliance standards
About you:
- Proven experience in high-end residential or property maintenance
- Strong multi-trade skills including carpentry, decorating, and general repairs
- Comfortable working within occupied private residences
- Organised, trustworthy, discreet, and people orientated
- Confident using digital systems and maintenance software
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Experience with listed buildings, pools, BMS and smart home systems, plant and general machinery is advantageous

Monday to Friday, 8am -4pm with some flexibility
Salary: Circa £50,000 GPA
