A rewarding role with a lovely family in Hampstead seeking a dedicated nanny to support their young child’s growth and development in a warm home environment.
Job Summary:
This family is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to join them from September, when the mother returns to work. The position is Monday to Friday, ideally 7:00am-7:00pm (with some flexibility), caring for their 8-month-old baby. The family is hoping to find someone who can become a long-term part of their child’s life and grow with the role over the coming years.
The nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom on the top floor of the family home. No travel, driving or housekeeping is required, although occasional weekend work or overnight support and assistance with light household tasks may be discussed in the future.
General Duties:
- Sole charge care of the family’s 8-month-old baby
- Supporting the child’s daily routine, development, and wellbeing
- Planning and engaging in age-appropriate play and activities
- Assisting with weaning and meal-related routines
- Managing the child’s laundry
- Maintaining the child’s nursery, toys, and belongings in an organised manner
- Providing occasional overnight support if required in the future
Candidate Specifications:
- Significant experience caring for infants, particularly babies of a similar age
- Strong knowledge of weaning, developmental milestones, and age-appropriate activities
- Warm, engaging, nurturing, and proactive personality
- Enjoys planning stimulating activities and supporting development
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to a long-term position
- Comfortable in a live-in arrangement
- Cooking for the family would be a bonus
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
