A warm and welcoming family based in a beautiful rural setting near Silverstone are seeking an experienced, organised, and proactive Live-In Housekeeper Nanny to join their household on a long-term basis.

The family are looking for someone who can become a valued part of their home, providing support with the children’s routines while ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.
During term time, the role is primarily focused on housekeeping and household support while the children are at school. During school holidays, the role becomes more childcare-focused, requiring a hands-on nanny who can organise activities, support routines, and provide engaging care for the children throughout the day.
The role offers exceptional accommodation within a fully self-contained one-bedroom barn conversion and would suit someone who enjoys countryside living and working in a family-focused environment.
Job Specification
Term Time
Approximately 70% Housekeeping / 30% Childcare
* Managing the household while the children are at school
* General housekeeping throughout the family home
* Laundry and ironing
* Household organisation and inventory management
* Family meal preparation and cooking
* Taking bins out and assisting with household upkeep
* School drop-offs and collections
* Supporting after-school routines
* Preparing children’s meals
* Assisting with homework and activities
School Holidays
Approximately 60% Childcare / 40% Housekeeping
* Sole and shared care of the children
* Organising age-appropriate activities and outings
* Supporting routines and wellbeing
* Preparing meals and snacks
* Providing engaging childcare throughout the day
* Maintaining household organisation alongside childcare responsibilities
* Supporting family life during holiday periods
Housekeeping Duties
* General housekeeping throughout the family home
* Laundry and ironing
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and tidy environment
* Family meal preparation and cooking
* Household organisation and inventory management
* Taking bins out and assisting with household upkeep
* Occasional dog walking and pet care
* Providing general household support where required
Childcare Duties
* School drop-offs and collections

Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience working as a Housekeeper Nanny within a private household
* Be confident balancing childcare and housekeeping responsibilities
* Be highly organised, tidy, and proactive
* Be a confident cook able to prepare family meals
* Hold a valid driving licence and be confident completing school runs
* Be comfortable living and working in a rural location
* Enjoy outdoor activities and countryside living
* Be comfortable around dogs and happy to carry out occasional dog-related duties
* Have a positive, flexible, and can-do attitude
* Be reliable, trustworthy, and discreet
* Possess excellent communication skills and strong initiative
* Be happy adapting to a role that shifts between housekeeping and childcare depending on the time of year
