Live-In Housekeeper/Maid – Private Island Villa (British Family)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive live-in Housekeeper/Maid to join a small team supporting a British family’s beautiful 6-bedroom beach villa located on a private island. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys island life, has a high standard of housekeeping, and can work as part of a collaborative household team.

Key Details:
    •    Accommodation: Private studio-style room with bed, sofa, TV, and a separate bathroom. Access to the main kitchen (meals typically prepared by the chef).
    •    Working Hours: Shift-based. Typically from 8/9am until after dinnertime (with breaks during the day), plus a short evening shift for final guest checks and tidy-up.
    •    Leave: 25 days holiday per year, 1 day off per week.
    •    Salary: Negotiable but as general guidance $4000 per month
    •    Benefits: Visa sponsorship, medical insurance and holiday entitlement provided as per UAE law.
    •    Environment: Informal yet high-standard beach house used by family, friends, and work colleagues. Relaxed, resort-like atmosphere.
The Household:
    •    British family (no young children) based mainly in Dubai.
    •    Property used as a holiday/beach home with a flexible guest schedule.
    •    Team on-site includes a live-in chef (who acts as house manager), two live-in gardeners, and an off-site boat captain.
    •    At times, only the staff will be on the island, especially during summer months.
Responsibilities:
    •    Daily cleaning and general upkeep of the villa
    •    Laundry and ironing (with support from gardening staff when needed)
    •    Basic cooking support if required by the chef
    •    Restocking household items and assisting with shopping orders
    •    Preparing guest rooms for arrivals/departures, including welcome packs
    •    Table settings and light service during guest meals
    •    Working closely with the chef/house manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements:
    •    Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or hospitality setting
    •    Comfortable living in a remote location with a small team
    •    Organised, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
    •    Friendly, discreet, and guest-focused
    •    Immediate availability preferred
