Part time Housekeeper Job in Islington, North London
A lovely family of four in Islington is seeking an experienced, reliable part time housekeeper to help maintain their family home to a high standard. The family consists of a couple and their two children, aged 12 and 15. You will be working in a narrow, tall, four-storey, four bedroom house featuring wooden floors, cork worktops, tiles, glass finishes, and modern furniture throughout. The family is looking for a calm-natured, positive, trustworthy, and proactive individual with previous experience in a similar housekeeping role.
Duties will include:
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home
• Laundry and ironing
• Tidying up and keeping the house well organised
• Preparing simple family meals
• Running small local errands
• Watering plants
• Other ad hoc duties as required
Nearest station: Angel
House: Four Bedrooms and Four Floors
Other Staff: One long-standing housekeeper who will continue working one day per week
Pets: No
Days & Hours: 15 hours per week across two days, flexible, with a preference for Mondays and Fridays
Salary: £19 – £20 gross per hour (self-employed basis)
Start: Second week of September
