Job Summary:
A lovely family based in NW London are seeking an experienced, passionate, and nurturing Spanish-speaking Nanny to care for their daughter, who will be approximately 15 months old at the start of the role.
The family are passionate about bilingual development and are looking for a Spanish speaker who can naturally introduce and immerse their daughter in the Spanish language through daily routines, play, outings, and activities. Both parents are actively involved and value open communication, whilst allowing their nanny the independence to use their professional judgement and initiative.
The successful candidate will be warm, proactive, development-focused, and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, encouraging exploration, learning, and independence.

Job Specification:
Childcare Duties:

• Sole-charge care of a toddler
• Supporting age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Creating a Spanish-speaking environment through everyday interaction
• Planning stimulating and educational activities
• Organising playdates, classes, and outings
• Supporting routines, naps, and mealtimes
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Encouraging independence and practical life skills
• Providing plenty of outdoor play and exploration opportunities
• Reading, singing, and engaging in language-rich activities
• Maintaining nursery areas, toys, and child-related organisation
• Providing daily updates and handovers to parents

Additional Duties:

• Child-related laundry and organisation
• Keeping children’s areas clean and tidy
• Supporting a collaborative parenting approach
• Occasional babysitting by prior arrangement

Candidate Specification:
The ideal candidate will:

• Be a Spanish speaker with fluent English as well
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ professional nanny experience
• Have strong experience caring for toddlers and young children
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of child development and developmental milestones
• Be confident planning engaging and educational activities independently
• Have experience supporting bilingual language development
• Be warm, nurturing, and energetic
• Be highly organised and proactive
• Be comfortable working alongside involved parents
• Have a long-term commitment to nannying as a profession
• Hold an up-to-date DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Have excellent checkable references
• Montessori Knowledge
• Childcare qualifications
• Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate
