Villa Manager Job – Live Out – Mougins, France Live-out NEW

A rare opportunity to manage a prestigious luxury villa in the South of France, combining high-level household leadership with a flexible seasonal schedule and long-term stability.

 
An exprienced and highly organised Villa Manager is sought to oversee a prestigious 6–7-bedroom private residence in Mougins for a UHNW international couple.

The Principals reside at the property seasonally, typically from May to October, and regularly entertain family and friends, including hosting an annual summer event for 60–70 guests. This is a long-term, live-out position requiring a proactive and service-focused professional who can ensure the smooth running of the household and deliver exceptional support to both the Principals and their guests.

 Work Schedule:

The role offers a seasonal rhythm aligned with the family’s residency pattern:

• During periods of residence: 6 days per week, averaging 40 hours per week.
• During quieter periods and off-season: attendance at the property approximately twice per week.
• Additional hours worked during busy periods may be taken back as time off in lieu.

Job specification:

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the villa and estate.
• Manage and coordinate household staff, including a full-time caretaker couple, travelling chefs, butlers, nurse, seasonal housekeeping staff, contractors, and external suppliers.
• Liaise closely with the Principals regarding schedules, preferences, and household requirements.
• Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, itineraries, and concierge services.
• Manage restaurant reservations, transport arrangements, appointments, and local bookings.
• Ensure all household shopping and provisioning is completed efficiently.
• Liaise with private chefs regarding menus, dietary requirements, and entertaining schedules.
• Organise and oversee events, including the family’s annual summer reception.
• Monitor property maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance programmes, and contractor performance.
• Manage household administration, correspondence, invoices, and bill payments.
• Maintain inventories and oversee purchasing of household supplies and services.
• Ensure compliance with French employment legislation and all relevant regulations affecting household staff and estate operations.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to the Principals.
• Ensure the property is always guest-ready and maintained to exceptional standards.

Candidate specification:

• Proven experience managing a luxury private residence or villa for UHNW clients.
• Fluent English and French.
• Strong understanding of French labour laws and household operations.
• Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Professional, discreet, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong concierge and guest-relations experience.
• Valid driving licence essential.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Mougins.
• Right to work in France.
• Willingness to commit to a long-term role.
