A wonderful travel maternity nurse role supporting first-time parents and their 5-month-old daughter, allowing the family to relax and fully enjoy their summer holiday in Greece.
This returning Eden family are seeking an experienced Maternity Nanny to accompany them to Zakynthos for two weeks to support their 5-month-old daughter. Although their baby is now sleeping well, the family are looking for somebody who will provide round-the-clock support, reassurance and practical assistance so they can truly relax, enjoy their holiday and catch up on some much-needed rest. They are particularly keen to find someone who is genuinely confident caring for babies aged 4–6 months, understanding the developmental changes, routines and evolving needs that come with this stage of infancy. The successful candidate will combine excellent baby knowledge with a calm, intuitive approach, stepping in when needed whilst also giving the family space to enjoy precious time together. The family previously had an excellent experience with their maternity nurse and would love to find somebody with a similarly warm, discreet and easy-going personality. This role will suit an experienced maternity professional who enjoys travelling with families, is confident supporting babies through the later infancy stage and understands the balance between being proactive and quietly blending into family life.
Job Specification
- Providing 24-hour care for a 5-month-old baby
- Supporting the family’s established feeding and sleep routines
- Assisting with all nursery duties related to the baby
- Offering reassurance and practical support to first-time parents
- Helping the family enjoy a restful and relaxed holiday
- Knowing when to step in and when to give the family space
Candidate Specification
- Experienced maternity nurse with excellent baby knowledge
- Confident caring for babies aged 4–6 months
- Warm, calm and intuitive approach
- Discreet and respectful of family time
- Proactive whilst remaining unobtrusive
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Easy-going personality and pleasant company
