Live out Housekeeper job in Kensington, West London
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a professional, experienced Housekeeper to help maintain their family home in Kensington. The family has two children, aged 6 and 10, and lives in a 7-bedroom, 5-floor house. The family will be moving into this newly furnished property in September and would like the Housekeeper to help ensure the home is maintained to a high standard during this transition.
They employ a live out Governess and a live in Nanny/Cook. This is an informal household, and they are looking for someone who is personally intelligent, proactive, organised, and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good knowledge of cleaning products, plenty of initiative, and previous experience working in a private household.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning to a high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Ensuring the smooth running of the household
- Running errands, including returning packages
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Property: 7-bedroom house arranged over 5 floors
Other staff: Live-out Governess and Live-in Nanny/Cook
Hours & Days: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 6 pm (1-hour lunch break)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 GPA (depending on experience)
