Experienced full-time Housekeeper required for a busy private family home in GU25. This is a permanent role on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. The position is ideal for a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused housekeeper with strong private household experience. No childcare duties are required.
Job Summary:
A welcoming private family based in GU25 are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their busy household. The family have two children aged 8 and 4, however there are no childcare responsibilities within this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the home. Duties will include all general housekeeping, laundry and ironing, wardrobe management, cleaning to a high standard, and ensuring the household is kept tidy and well organised at all times.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The family are looking for someone proactive, efficient, and trustworthy who takes pride in their work and can manage their time effectively.

Candidate specification:
• Previous professional housekeeping experience within private households
• Strong knowledge of high-standard cleaning and household upkeep
• Excellent laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management skills
• Highly organised, efficient, and able to manage workload independently
• Proactive with strong attention to detail
• Trustworthy, discreet, and professional at all times
• Able to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
• Comfortable working in a busy family home environment
• Good communication skills
• Child-friendly (children present in the home, but no childcare duties required)
• Excellent references essential
• DBS check preferred or willingness to obtain
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to a long-term role
