Job Summary
This role is based within a private family household supporting parents with a new-born baby and toddler. The primary focus will be on ensuring the family are able to maximise rest during the new-born period, whilst providing practical support and reassurance overnight. The family are taking a flexible approach to feeding and intend to combination feed. They are looking for a maternity nurse who is comfortable supporting this approach and can offer balanced, experience-led guidance based on the family’s preferences.

Job Specification
- Supporting combination feeding, including breast and bottle feeding
- Assisting with settling and soothing the baby overnight
- Supporting the mother’s postnatal recovery through practical overnight assistance
- Providing guidance on new-born care and feeding where required
- Maintaining a calm and organised overnight environment
Candidate Specification
- Confident supporting combination feeding approaches
- Warm, calm, and reassuring manner
- Able to provide practical advice without being prescriptive
- Professional and collaborative approach
