Live Out Housekeeper/Cook Job in Notting Hill
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys based in Notting Hill is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper/Cook to join their household. The family consists of a couple and their three grown-up children, two of whom still live at home, while the third is frequently in and out of the family home.
The family is currently downsizing from their current property and will move into their new home by the end of September. This four-bedroom duplex apartment is arranged over two floors and benefits from an external lift.
The family is looking for a proactive, organised, and professional candidate who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout the home. The ideal candidate will be able to think ahead, work independently, and confidently manage all housekeeping duties while preparing delicious and nutritious meals for the family. They enjoy Mediterranean, Greek, Italian, and French cuisine and have no dietary requirements or allergies.
Duties to include:
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the property
• Laundry, alongside a part-time laundress currently employed by the family
• Ironing
• Preparing daily family meals
• Food shopping, including ordering groceries through Waitrose and shopping locally
• Running household errands, including dry-cleaning collection and post office visits
• Maintaining high standards of organisation throughout the home
The family is seeking someone who will become a valued and trusted member of their household and take ownership of their role with a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
House: 4-bedroom duplex apartment over 2 floors with an external lift
Nearest station: Holland Park
Working week: Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
