A long-term rota maternity nanny role in Switzerland supporting a happy 6-month-old baby with routines, weaning and developmental milestones within an active family environment.
This is a lovely long-term role suited to an experienced maternity nanny with previous rota experience, who is highly confident supporting babies through the 6–12 month stage and enjoys becoming part of an active and outdoorsy family lifestyle.
The baby has recently started solids and is moving into the next developmental stage, so the family are looking for someone highly experienced with older babies who is confident supporting weaning, routines, sleep progression and age-appropriate developmental milestones throughout the 6–12 month period. The role is currently fully 24-hour care, sharing a room with the baby overnight, although this may reduce as the baby becomes more settled sleeping through the night. The family lead a very active and outdoors-focused lifestyle and enjoy sports, riding and snowboarding, so they would love to find someone energetic and outdoorsy who enjoys being active and out in nature. The family live on a hill, so candidates should be comfortable with an active daily routine. The household is relaxed and informal, and the family are looking for someone warm, adaptable and fun who can integrate naturally into family life while maintaining excellent organisation and attention to detail. They already employ another nanny on the alternate rota, and Polish-speaking candidates would be welcomed. There is also a large but very friendly dog in the home, so candidates should be comfortable around pets.
Job Specification
- Providing 24-hour care for a 6-month-old baby on a rota basis
- Supporting routines, sleep progression and weaning

Candidate Specification
- Extensive experience with babies aged 6–12 months essential
- Confident supporting weaning and developmental milestones
- Organised, proactive and adaptable in approach
- Warm, fun and easy-going personality
- Outdoorsy and active lifestyle preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Polish-speaking beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable around dogs
Accommodation: Separate apartment provided, with overnight accommodation shared with the baby when on duty.
