A lovely opportunity for an experienced and engaging After School Nanny to join a warm family in W11 caring for two school-aged children aged 6 and 9 years old. This role offers excellent term-time hours alongside full-time cover during school holidays, ideal for a proactive nanny seeking a long-term position within a welcoming household.
Job Summary:
A warm and welcoming family based in W11 are seeking an experienced After School Nanny to care for their two children aged 6 and 9 years old. This is a permanent role suited to a nurturing, organised and engaging nanny who enjoys supporting school-aged children and becoming a valued part of family life.
During term time, the nanny will work Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 6:30pm, supporting the children with school pick-ups, after-school routines, homework assistance, preparing healthy meals and snacks, and organising fun, educational and age-appropriate activities.
During school holidays, the role will become full-time from 8am to 6:30pm, with responsibility for planning stimulating activities, outings and supporting the children’s continued development in a fun and structured environment.
The family are looking for someone proactive, dependable and warm, who can confidently manage routines whilst creating a calm, positive and nurturing atmosphere within the home.
Candidate specification:
• Previous experience caring for school-aged children
• Warm, engaging and nurturing approach to childcare
• Organised, proactive and able to use initiative
• Confident supporting homework and routines
• Happy planning activities, outings and educational play
• Confident preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Reliable, punctual and flexible
• Strong communication skills
• Long-term mindset and looking to commit to a family role
• Up to date first aid certificate and excellent checkable references required
• DBS on the update service highly desirable
