We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Private Chef to provide simple, healthy, and nutritious meals in a private household. The role involves preparing daily meals and ensuring a well-organized kitchen while maintaining a focus on gut and brain-friendly foods.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with the option to prep dinner in advance).
Cook for the principal and provide lunch for staff (approx. 5 people).
Plan menus in line with Mediterranean, European, and Turkish cuisine.
Ensure meals are balanced, nutritious, and easy to digest—not fine dining but straightforward, wholesome food.
Grocery shopping, stock management, and inventory control.
Keep kitchen cupboards organized and stocked efficiently.
Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen area (cleaning and serving assistance is provided).
Prepare meals for weekends in advance when not working.
Requirements:
Experience in private households or similar environments.
Strong understanding of nutrition and healthy eating.
Ability to create simple yet flavorful meals tailored to well-being.
Well-organized with good stock management skills.
Passionate about Mediterranean and European cuisines.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work 4-5 days per week.
