A maternity nurse role in Paris supporting a welcoming family with their third baby, focusing on breastfeeding support, newborn routines and practical family assistance.
This is a lovely role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who enjoys establishing gentle routines from the newborn stage while working collaboratively within a relaxed and family-focused household. A returning Eden client is seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their third baby in December. The family are looking for somebody calm, easy-going and knowledgeable who can provide expert newborn support while helping establish good feeding and sleep foundations from the early weeks. Breastfeeding support will be an important part of the role, alongside guidance on routines and newborn development. The family have an older daughter who will be almost 9 years old, and whilst the primary focus will remain on the newborn, they would appreciate somebody who is comfortable supporting the wider family where needed. This may occasionally include supervising the older child if the parents go out for dinner, although this would not be a regular part of the role. The family are currently renovating their home, so accommodation may initially be within a temporary apartment in Paris before returning to their permanent residence. This role will suit an experienced maternity nurse who is warm, flexible and confident supporting a family through the newborn stage while naturally fitting into family life.
Job Specification
- Providing 24-hour care for a newborn baby
- Supporting breastfeeding and newborn feeding routines
- Establishing healthy sleep foundations and routines
- Offering guidance and reassurance to experienced parents
- Managing all nursery duties related to the baby
- Providing occasional support with the older sibling when required

Candidate Specification
- Experienced maternity nurse with excellent newborn knowledge
- Strong breastfeeding support experience
- Confident establishing routines from the early weeks

- Comfortable supporting both newborn care and occasional wider family needs
Accommodation: Bed provided in the baby’s room. Accommodation arrangements may initially be within a temporary apartment while renovations are completed.
