A supportive nightly maternity nurse role helping first-time parents establish calm nights, gentle sleep foundations and confidence with their 6-week-old baby.
This is a lovely role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who can provide calm, practical overnight support while helping first-time parents navigate the next stage with their baby. A first-time family based in Hertfordshire are seeking an experienced Nightly Maternity Nurse to support them with their 6-week-old baby for approximately two months. Mum is recovering from a caesarean birth and has been supported by her own mother during the early weeks. As this support comes to an end, the family are now looking for an experienced maternity nurse who can help them establish calm nights and provide reassurance and guidance moving forward. The baby is currently bottle fed, and the family’s focus is ensuring the baby is well-fed, settled and thriving. At present, the baby prefers to be held for much of the night, so the family would value somebody experienced in supporting settling and sleep foundations in a gentle and responsive manner. They are keen to receive practical advice and guidance but would like somebody who is respectful of their parenting choices and not overly prescriptive in their approach. This role will suit a calm, experienced maternity nurse who is supportive, reassuring and confident helping families work towards better sleep while remaining responsive to the baby’s individual needs. There is a friendly Labrador in the home.
